Do your programs require a minimum number of years in business for applicant eligibility?

 Our eligibility criteria varies by carrier and state, and in most states we can consider new ventures where the owner/management has prior business experience. Please call our office and speak to an underwriter for more details on state exceptions.


Do you have minimum premiums?

 Yes – our minimum premiums also vary by class and line of business. Generally, our Workers’ Compensation accounts may be subject to a minimum premium that ranges between $500 - $5,000 depending on carrier, while Property and Artisan Contractor GL policies have a $500 minimum premium. Please contact our office for specific details.


When are direct bill commissions paid out to the producers?

Northshore Insurance Managers pays commission on a monthly basis. Commissions are generally payable 30-60 days after the insured’s payment has been credited to the carrier.


Is there a minimum number of submissions that need to be made in order to conduct business with Northshore Insurance Managers?

What are the different payment plans that are in place?

 For Workers’ Compensation policies, Northshore Insurance Managers offers unique, flexible payment options ranging from 25% down – 9 monthly payments, Quarterly, Semi Annual or even 12 monthly payments. Some payment plans may be subject to satisfactory credit check.

For Property and Artisan Contractor GL policies, transactions are agency billed, and we are able to offer competitive premium financing options.


How can we get appointed with your company?

 Please contact our office directly in order to talk to one of our team members who can assist you with the appointment process.


What materials are needed to bind?

 Completed and signed ACORD and any documents the underwriter may have specified at time of quoting.


Where does the insured send payments?

For Property and Artisan Contractor GL policies, payments are sent to Northshore Insurance Managers as per our invoices.


How are policy transactions billed?

 All of our workers’ compensation accounts are direct bill, while property and artisan contractor GL policies are agency billed. Please contact our office to speak with one of our team members for any questions concerning billing.
